We have been seeing Dr. Mireku for nearly a decade. She was the first doctor to ease our concerns with our son's food allergies when he was just a toddler. She is proactive, kind, personable and a highly trustworthy practitioner. I love how she shares her own experiences and knowledge to keep us parents educated on the latest technology and cutting edge trends. We went through OIT for one of my children's egg allergies and it was life changing. I am so happy that she suggested we start with egg and helped us navigate the process.

I am always comforted after visiting Dr. Mireku. Allergies and asthma can be hard for parents (especially new parents) to navigate and I feel blessed to have found her and privileged to be able to continue to visit with her! The new offices in Southlake are pristine and all of the staff is friendly and wonderful to work with. New tech makes it easy to communicate at any time, schedule appointments etc. I highly recommend the services of Texas Allergy MD!!

I have no complaints. The building is pristine. The location was optimal. The front desk check-in process was quick and the receptionist was prepared.

We were looking for a new allergist closer to home. Our previous allergist was leaving their practice so it seemed like the right time. I found this office through a Google search for allergists that do OIT. I'm so thankful we were able to find this office. Everyone was super friendly. Dr. Mireku took the time to really talk to both of my kids about their allergies and what they would like to see happen in regards to moving past them. She has a clear plan.

Dr. Mireku is friendly, professional and efficient. She took the time to explain the difference between intolerance vs allergies, also the appropriate time/age to test for allergies. Her front office staff are amazing as well! They are welcoming with smiles! The office is very clean and organized. I brought my toddler daughter in for a visit, but I will return as a new patient. Dr. Mireku has been our daughter’s allergy doctor since she was 5 (now 13). Our daughter has a severe peanut allergy along with asthma. She coached us through several rounds of challenges to reduce the impact of exposure to nuts. We trust her implicitly. Dr. Mireku’s knowledge and experience as well as bedside manner is impeccable. She has always been very responsive especially to my panicked calls or texts when my daughter had an allergic reaction and had to be rushed to the ER.

Her office is highly professional and well run. I highly recommend her as the “go to” allergist for assessment, treatment, preventative and maintenance care. This photo taken after a successful completion of four nut challenges successfully completed!

Had a great in person visit for both of my children with Dr. Mireku. My daughter has a severe food allergy and my son suffers from eczema and seasonal allergies. Very informative and listened to all my concerns. My oldest was so nervous about this round of testing. She made my kids so comfortable during the allergy testing…..no tears….all happy faces. Office tablets for them to use during the tests was an added bonus.

Another doctor labeled my son with a peanut allergy and it didn’t seem right to us. He ate peanuts almost everyday. So we found Dr. Mireku and came to her for a second opinion. She has such a good bedside manner. Even though my son is 12, she included him in the conversation giving him a voice and making him feel important. She was very thorough with his bloodwork and in our case recommended a food challenge. My son passed it and was deemed not allergic to peanuts. He was so excited to get all things peanut back in his life. I highly recommend Dr. Mireku and her awesome staff for their professionalism and dedication to their patients.
