Nana Mireku, M.D., is the Medical Director of the Safe2Bite | Texas Food Allergy Center and has over 15 years of experience in providing specialized and individualized food allergy care using evidence-based methods. She is committed and dedicated to helping children, adults, and their families be set free from the limitations caused by food allergies. As the mother of two children with life-threatening food allergies, she’s extremely passionate about providing comprehensive care, alleviating anxiety, and improving the quality of life of food allergic patients of all ages.
Dr. Mireku received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and her medical degree from the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University. She completed her pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan and her fellowship in Allergy & Immunology (Adults & Pediatrics) at the Detroit Medical Center/Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Mireku is board-certified through the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (FAAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (FACAAI).
